For Immediate Release: Lawrence, MA November 3, 2014 - In a collaborative effort aimed at shifting power back into the hands of operators, The Hudson Financial and Technology Group LLC, (“The Hudson Group”), an application service provider for the ground transportation industry, has partnered with a number of industry veterans to contribute to the “CoNext Project”.
CoNext aims to provide operators with state-of-the-art technology facilitated through cross-platform sharing in an effort to amass enough vehicles with the capability of offering both pre-arranged reservations, as well as on-demand service.
While fellow contributors Livery Coach, FastTrak Cloud, and SedanMagic all compete directly with The Hudson Group, Hudson recognized the need for industry leaders to work together towards a common cause – empowering transportation companies with the tools they need to compete against emerging TNC giants like Uber and Lyft.
John Rowley, Chief Operating Officer for The Hudson Group, notes that the collective technology brought together for the project is unparalleled in the industry.
“Only a cooperative effort between these leading software companies could supply operators with what they need to further enhance their businesses – the ability to provide on-demand service to customers worldwide. In such a turbulent and ever-changing field, it’s imperative that we deliver sophisticated solutions that empower consumers and gives them the experience they have come to expect. “
“Our mobile applications will allow operators to see their passengers in any car, regardless of who owns the vehicle or where in the world they are traveling. As long as a passenger has internet access on their smartphone or tablet, we can provide real-time GPS and visibility”, said Rowley.
For more than 15 years, The Hudson Group has been outfitting ground transportation providers with the most comprehensive reservation and dispatching technology on the market. Hudson’s contribution to The CoNext Project signals another step towards the continued success of the industry.
